(2) 10ft strands of steel twisted together to create the start of Jakwire. Then you can select your preferred style of barb, and then your preferred method of either bolt to post or weld to post for the installation.
Weld-to-Post installation of Jakwire requires welding to each post at each end of the strand at pre-installed weld loops on each post, at 11" vertical spacing.
Bolt-to-Post installation of Jakwire allows a no-weld method of using bolt tabs, pre-welded to the post with 11" vertical spacing, and lock washers & nuts (provided).
Single strand of (2) 3/8 twisted steel rods creates Jakwire in 10 foot length. Standard install is 1 strand per 11 inches in vertical fence height. So you will need 4 strands for a 4ft high fence and 5 strands for a 5ft fence, for each 10 linear feet. Each strand includes 6 barbs from our existing barb options to be selected.
