Getting to know JAKwire
Jakwire - standard strands for online ordering
IMPORTANT: Prior to ordering, you need to determine if your installation will utilize a weld-on or bolt-on method for attaching to the posts. Jakwire typically comes in 10ft strands of (2) 3/8" steel rods twisted together, with addition of what we refer to as "barbs", even though barbs are often replaced with various shapes to represent your tastes. They can include a single barb selection exclusively on all strands, alternate by row, or even intermingle the barbs for your desired look.
Posts for Jakwire
For online orders we offer 3 posts, with 2 lengths and the 2 install method preparation for each. For end-posts, corner posts, and at least intermittent in the line of a fence you will want the 2 3/8 Steel Posts or the Wood-Look Scultped Concrete posts for strength. Then the steel T-posts can be used as the less expensive line posts in between, if you need to try to keep your costs down a little. *
